Word on the street is back in the day a US pro used to put get acid into the country under his trucks... but bummer for who ever tried this one...

A 33-YEAR-old Victorian man faces up to 25 years in jail after cocaine was found hidden inside two skateboards at Sydney Airport.
The man was stopped by Customs officers yesterday after arriving on a flight from Auckland, Customs and Australian Federal Police (AFP) said in a joint statement.

Customs officers became suspicious that drugs were hidden inside two skateboard decks and an X-ray revealed an image consistent with a possible drug concealment.

The decks were opened, allegedly revealing three packages containing 600 grams of white powder.

Preliminary tests indicated the presence of cocaine, Customs and AFP said.

The powder would be forensically tested to confirm the substance and determine its purity and weight, they said.

The man was charged with attempting to import a marketable quantity of a border-controlled drug, which carries a maximum penalty of 25 years imprisonment and/or a $550,000 fine.

He appeared in Sydney Central Local Court today and was remanded in custody to reappear in the same court on January 15 next year.

Wow. Imagine if some smackie stole one and then sold one to a skater who one day broke his board. The irony for the the drug fiend.

Dumb move too! Customs are always giving skaters the sideways suspecting scowl at the airport!

I dropped my Dad off at avalon and was pulled over the the side by customs the other week. My face would have gone so white as just at that moment i realised i still had a bag of weed in my pocket. pretty stupid. Would have been so bad in front of my old man too! They only checked me for explosives powder! Phew! I had my coffee very quickly with him and left before i saw any beagles!

if only he didn't get caught, he could have filmed some really long flowing lines on that board.

They sound like 80's boards given they had rails.

Would they be better for nose slides?

When they opened those boards I bet it went "CRACK"
