> QUESTION FILM PEOPLE???
im looking at getting my video "capture the moment" duplicated,around 200 copies to give away to people.
the one problem im having is some of these duplication places wont do it cause of copyright laws with music!!!
any local guys in melb's that have done their vids, do you know of a place that will duplicate it and not give a fuck about copyright laws??? remember im doing this to give away to people not to profit off other peoples creative music... cheers rodos...
multi tech, they're in footscray. i used them to make 110 copies of a video once. i used, at least excerpts, of around 20 songs though only had copyright for 3 of them. they didnt even ask me about that though.

Put up a disclaimer that all the songs are actually covers by "your friends band" and they are that good of a band that all the music is identical sounding. That's what im gunna do
And also put up a disclaimer that anything that may been viewed as an illegal act is digitally animatted
that cant possibly work tinbum, either of them.
are you using mainstream music or sort of unknown stuff?
I think if you aren't making a profit. You can use any song as long as you put it in the credits. That's what it is like for the hsc visual arts short films.
What about if you buy the cd of the artist, then you can use that cd for whatever the fuck you want eg putting the songs into a movie.
Possession is 9 thenths of the law I've heard.
