House of Vans - Shanghai China
How's that! House of Vans, Shanghai China with Geelong, Lodown & OCD Skateshops Australia.
Earlier this year in celebration of Go Skateboarding Day 2016, 50 skate-shops across APAC were offered the chance to submit a 2 minute skateboard video representing their store and skateboarding team by doing 5050 grinds in celebration of 50 years of Vans.
From those 50 stores a select few would be offered the trip of a life time to the House of Vans China, where a handful of stores would skate off on the Vans HOV mini ramp for cash, building up to the grand finally where one shop would be crowned the king of skate-shops chosen by Vans Global through the video votes. The winning shop taking home a cool $2000 USD cash money with the runners up pocketing $800 USD each.
Well it just so happens 3 out of the 50 shops were Aussie, kicking off the Aussie rampage in Shanghai China...
Geelong Skate Shop, Lodown and OCD all came out the victors, bonding together to bring you this clip by George 'Zoolz' Kousoulis a good time was had by all, we can’t thank Vans China enough! Until next year... Enjoy

This place just received a $900k government grant to install a pump track and upgrade the skate park, so hopefully it will be good in 2025.

Big kahunas required to ride the big bowl.. but its so fun! The rest of the park has average flow but the architecture and layout is pretty unique and fun! 4.5/5

flat enough ground for beginners to learn to push and stay on the board, but the ramp is a little dodgy
edit: careful riding on the lighter concrete, it's really slippery and the change from rough concrete to smooth is super jarring
