hey
im going to japan tomorrow for a couple weeks staying in osaka and i was just wondering if anybody knew anything about the skate scene over there?
parks etc. also are boards and shit cheap over there?
boards are about 10 000 yen plus grip so its about the same as oz i guess
osaka has a really good scene. dont know much about it though
keep an eye out for asian tooza
Get off at Nagai Station on the Midosuji line and then follow the signs to the stadium theres a nice long ledge and heaps of flat ground with heaps of skaters
Also check Kobe out it has heaps of spots
As for parks go to shijonawate JR line and theres a huge park about 10 min skate from the station with a sweet skate park
check www.hyperdia.com for train times and

for skate parks.
dude you chose a freezing cold time to come to Japan.
the scene in osaka is really good. i've been down there a few times and had some fun. if you go to namba station in the evening (after 10pm ish) there will be a posse skating ledges and flat ground out front.
say what up to them and ask for chopper. super rad fella, ripper and scene back bone type guy. he and his homies will sort you out.
i'd settle for spring and autumn. the cold sucks but i'm gonna be hitting the hill with a completely new set up this year. i'm hyped!
how's the study going drewsie? what you got, two weeks till jlpt?
one week sunday... going to fail becasue my grammar (bunpou) and vocab (goi) are shit im nerding it up for the next week.
going to the only indoor park in shizuoka tomorrow should be good... kono ame!!!!!!
i haven`t been to an illegal drift race but i went to a legal one, and yes it was in a car park in odaiba. i personally think drift racing is stupid. they just go so slow.
i always wear slippers at my high school job. i`m thinking of doing what the kids do and buy a pair of `inside the school` shoes that will never see the rigours of the outdoors.
oh and `.cn` is china, japan is `.jp`
